Kings' confirm injuries of Modric and Marcelo


Real Madrid confirmed that midfielder Luka Modric and Brazilian defender Marcelo injury suffered during the last match against Malaga, expected to be absent for several weeks.


The pair of players was replaced in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Malaga and Madrid club now after tests confirmed that both Marcelo and Modric suffer from muscle injuries.

After examination, it is thought that Marcelo will miss Real's matches a month, while the Croatian midfielder will miss two to three weeks after the injury rate is lower, followed Telegraph.

These two injuries add to the pain head-coach Zinedine Zidane, as is now added to the list of players Dani Carvajal, Pepe and Gareth Bale also have long-term injuries.

While Madrid will have to suffer shortages of James, Danilo and Cristiano Ronaldo thought to be non-available due to small shocks.
